Christian could be found sunning himself beside the lake. Not getting a tan, mind you, he was sunning himself, dragging in vitamin D kicking and screaming. With a contented sigh he rolled over on his stomach and amused himself by watching a small group of third years daring each other to go for a swim. He remembered those days with a certain fondness, alas he could not frolic any longer. He considered himself much too old for that sort of thing. He smiled to himself as a Gryffindor girl suddenly shrieked and shot out of the water. He could only imagine that the giant squid had teased her. He knew it was disconcerting no matter how many times it happened.

Cami smirked, amused, as the Gryffindor practically ran out of the water. Why they still insisted on venturing into the chilly depths was beyond her. But then, Cami was not a swimmer by nature, in fact it was safe to say that she didn't like water much at all. She'd just as soon avoid all large bodies of water. She looked around the grounds searching for somebody to talk to. Finally she spotted a likely candidate. She recognized him as a Ravenclaw. Slowly she approached him, she wasn't sure if he was awake and she didn't want to wake him if he was. Once she'd seen to it that he was not asleep she settled down beside of him.
"Hello." She remarked. "Funny isn't it."

Christian noticed the pretty Ravenclaw girl that was approaching him. He made no move to make room for her, figuring that if she wanted his company that bad she could make room for herself. He noted that she seemed to be a bit nervous about approaching him, or something. He said nothing about her sitting next to him, but continued watching the swimmers.
"Hi." He returned absentmindedly. He snorted at her next words. "Hysterical more like." He answered.

Cami smirked slightly as he made no comment at her sitting next to him.
"I'm Cami." She remarked as she sat there sunning herself. It really was a beautiful day outside.
"It's quite amusing. You'd think they'd learn." She mused as she twirled a strand of hair between her fingers.

"Hello Cami, I'm Christian." He introduced himself with a slight grin.
"Are you kidding? They're Gryffindor. Proud home of the brave. Proud of the stupid's more like." He had muttered the last part of his little speech. He wasn't entirely sure he wanted her hearing that. Some Ravenclaw's wouldn't hear a bad thing about Gryffindor even if it was true.

Cami smirked to herself at his words. "Don't worry." She said calmly as she ran her fingers through her hair. "I agree with you completely. Still, everybody expects all the loud obnoxious people to go in that house. I am proud to say I am loud and obnoxious but am not brave or stupid!" She said with a slight grin.
"So what are you doing out her all by your lonesome?"

Christian sighed in relief. It was nice to meet another Ravenclaw who didn't fall down and worship the Gryffindors. He was of course polite to them, but he didn't particularly approve of some of their actions. Unfortunately, it appeared he'd just found a member of his own house with idiotic tendencies. Such a combination could prove deadly. She was smart enough to know how to get out of such situations.
"Ah, so you aren't brave? Not at all?" He teased with a smile. "Oh, I'm avoiding people in general." He said calmly, "I don't feel like being social."
